Login FAQ

Question:

I am not able to log in.  What do I do?

Answer:

If you put your username in and it auto-populates your company name, then your username is correct.  If your username is correct, you put in your password and it does not accept your login (gives error message of invalid login credentials), double check your password to ensure you have typed in the right text.

Question:

I have tried my password 4 times and it is not letting me into the system; it states I am locked out.  What do I do?

Answer:

The system allows a user 4 attempts to enter in the correct password.  Should you get locked out of the database, you will need to contact your supervisor so that your password can be reset.

Question:

I have clicked on "Forgot Password" at the login screen, and I have not received a temporary password.  What do I do?

Answer:

You will need to contact your supervisor or security administrator to regain access to the database.  You will also want to verify and/or update the email address that your organization has in OnTarget for you.

Question:

I am getting task notifications on the My Tasks dashlet, but I am not getting email notifications when Tasks are sent.  What do I do?

Answer:

Go to Options –>Preferences–>Notifications and make sure that the box is checked to receive email notifications.  Verify that your email address is correct in the "Receive email notifications at" box.

Question:

I am having problems/issues with the program that I cannot resolve, and I need additional help.  Whom should I contact?

Answer:

If you are having problems/issues that you cannot resolve on your own or with the help of your company's system administrator, you can contact support by going to Options–>Support–>Contact Support.  Additionally, you have the option of contacting your company's security administrator for assistance by going to Options–>Support–>Contact Security Administrator.
