How to Search for Notes Using the Filters

The clinical notes search grid is where users can search for particular notes using filters to restrict the search results.  The various filters that can be used to restrict the clinical notes grid are explained below.

"Clear Filters" is used to reset all filters.  Alternate method:  X out of each field individually.

"Client" will restrict the notes grid based on the client name.

"Note Template" will restrict the notes grid based on the type of note template.

"Supervisor" will restrict the notes grid based on supervisor name.

"Caregiver" will restrict the notes grid based on caregiver.

"Billable Service" will restrict the notes grid based on the billable service used.

"Cost Center" will restrict the notes grid based on the cost center.

"Date of Service" will restrict the notes grid based on the "before/after" dates.

"Caregiver Signature" will restrict the notes grid based on whether or not the note has been signed.

"Supervisor Billing Approval" will restrict the notes grid based on whether or not the note has been approved (eligible for billing).  The grid can also be restricted for "all ineligible notes".

"Supervisor Payroll Approval" will restrict the notes grid based on whether or not the note has been approved (eligible for payroll).  The grid can also be restricted for "all ineligible notes".

"Tasks" will restrict the notes grid based on whether or not notes have tasks.

The characters shown above (from left to right) include the following:  "edit views", "choose view ", and "save view".  A "view" is a snapshot of a filtered grid view.  After setting the filters to the desired settings, a user can click on the "save view" button to save a snapshot of the filtered grid view.  From there, views can be further edited by clicking on the "edit views" button.  Doing this takes the user to a pop up screen where the list of saved views can be managed.  Choosing a particular view is done by using the drop down box and selecting that view from the list.

By clicking on the "export" button on the lower left corner of the grid view, the user is presented with a print-friendly grid containing all of the basic information for the notes currently selected from the client grid view (service, date, supervisor, caregiver, etc).

"Active" will restrict the notes grid based on whether the client is listed as active.
